Delivery Partner Guide
Comprehensive information for individual riders and courier fleets regarding registration, acceptances, PIN confirmation, digital signature, and earnings.
You can apply to become a delivery partner by registering an account on Pakashop, navigating to your Profile Dashboard, and clicking 'Apply as Delivery Agent'. You will fill out an application form specifying whether you are an individual or a company, and upload your credentials.
We support two types of delivery agents: (1) Individual Agents—independent riders, drivers, or walkers who use their own vehicles, and (2) Courier Companies—registered businesses that manage their own fleet and sub-agents under a single corporate console.
Individual agents need a valid driver's license, NRC or Passport, and police clearance certificate. Courier companies need a PACRA registration certificate, RTSA operator license, company profile, and a national ID of the registered business director.
Go to 'Apply as Delivery Agent', select 'Individual', enter your personal details, choose your primary vehicle type (motorcycle, bicycle, car, or van), provide vehicle particulars (license plate), and upload scans of your driver's license and NRC.
Choose 'Courier Company' in the application form. You will provide your company's PACRA registration number, business phone, business address, and upload your PACRA certificate. You will also specify the initial size of your delivery fleet.
Our operations team typically reviews and verifies delivery application packages within 48 to 72 business hours. This includes vehicle security checks, validation of driver's licenses, and business registration verification.
You will receive an immediate SMS and email notification once approved. When you next log in, your dashboard will transition into the Logistics Control Room (for courier companies) or the Delivery Agent Console (for individuals).
Yes! Approved courier companies have access to a custom 'Sub-Agents' portal. You can invite or add your own riders and drivers by inputting their names, email, phone, and vehicle information. They will log in using their own sub-agent accounts to accept assignments linked to your company.
Once you set your status to 'Available' in your Delivery Agent Console, you will receive real-time notifications about local packages ready for pickup at merchants near your location.
When a new delivery alert pops up, inspect the pickup location, delivery destination, package size, and estimated earnings in ZMW. Click 'Accept Delivery' to lock in the assignment. You must proceed to collect the package from the seller's shop promptly.
You will see the merchant name and address, customer name and delivery address, customer phone number (unlocked after collection), package weight, vehicle recommendation, special handling instructions, and your guaranteed payout amount.
When you physically deliver the items to the buyer, ask them to inspect the goods. Once they are satisfied, ask them for their unique 4-digit Delivery PIN. Enter this PIN into your Delivery Agent Console. If correct, the system will mark the order as 'Delivered', instantly releasing the merchant's escrow funds and logging your delivery fee.
If the buyer cannot find their SMS or email containing the PIN, they can log into their Pakashop account and view the active PIN under the order details. Alternatively, you can click 'Resend PIN' inside your agent app to trigger an automated SMS/email resend to the customer.
For high-value or corporate orders, Pakashop requires digital signature verification. In addition to entering the 4-digit PIN, you will present your screen to the buyer, who will sign directly on the digital signature canvas in your console. Enter the signatory's name and relation to complete verification.
If the customer is unavailable, attempt to call them. If they do not pick up after 3 attempts, wait 10 minutes at the location. If you still cannot make contact, mark the delivery as 'Failed - Customer Unreachable' in your app, return the package safely to the merchant, and our support team will handle rescheduling.
Yes, you must have an active smartphone with a functioning web browser, GPS/location services enabled, and an active mobile internet connection. This is necessary to accept dispatches, view map directions, and capture delivery confirmation PINs/signatures in real-time.
Your console features an 'Earnings Dashboard' showing your total completed trips, active mileage, tips, and a breakdown of ZMW earned daily, weekly, or monthly.
All delivery fees are credited to your agent balance immediately upon successful 4-digit PIN confirmation. Payouts are settled directly to your registered MTN, Airtel, or Zamtel mobile money wallet, or your corporate bank account every Friday.
To ensure operational transparency and prevent conflicts of interest, an active merchant account cannot double as an independent delivery agent. However, merchants can register their own dedicated delivery vehicle fleets as a courier company if needed.
Your safety is paramount. In case of an accident or emergency, contact local authorities first. Once safe, notify Pakashop Logistics Support immediately at logistics@pakashop.store or call our agent hotline. We will coordinate order replacement and buyer communication.
